Copying Scalar Values to Meshes

If required, you can copy the measurements included within a scalar mesh to the selected mesh.

  1. In the Data Properties and Settings panel, right-click the mesh that you want the copy the scalar values to.
  2. Choose Copy Scalar Values From in the pop-up menu.

    The Choose a Scalar Values Slot dialog appears.

  3. Choose the mesh that includes the scalar values you want to copy in the Object drop-down menu..
  4. Choose the measurement you want to copy in the Slot drop-down menu.

  5. Click OK to copy the measurement to the selected mesh.

    The mapped measurement(s) appear in the Measurement drop-down menu in the Scalar information box.

  6. Save your changes, if required (see Exporting Meshes).
